I do yoga and when I first started my dog started lying down beside me doing the same stretches I was doing. So I taught her the word “stretch” because dogs only understand one word at a time. To that means doing the Downward Dog yoga position which she knows quite well. I also do massage therapy for my dog-it’s great for skin and coat health as well as circulation. I really enjoyed your comment – thank you !

Wow, that’s looks like an incredibly hard Yoga pose! It must require quite some strength and conditioning. My girlfriends Mom teaches Hatha Yoga and I’ve done it once or twice and I have to say it is quite enjoyable – and I can definitely see the benefits of doing it on a regular basis are huge.

The ‘Downward Dog’ is about the only official term I can remember though I’m afraid =)

Those poses look pretty difficult to accomplish. This definitely does not look like a beginner pose. I would have to practice a lot before I could get to this position.
