There are quite a few different types of yoga that you can practice, and one of the most popular is Kundalini yoga meditation. Kundalini yoga meditation is an incredibly dynamic system, one that is comprised of breathing, movement, stretching meditation, and the use of sound and rhythm, relaxation and meditation. As this is one of the most powerful forms of yoga that you can enjoy, you will have to do spine and flexibility warm-ups.
The word Kundalini is Sanskrit meaning “coiled up” which is a reference to the powerful latent energy found in people that helps with self-healing and higher cognition of the mind. Kundalini yoga meditation allows everyone to tap into this latent energy to use its benefits.
Breathe in Kundalini Yoga
One of the more important aspects of Kundalini yoga meditation is breathing and there are specific exercises for it. There is a type of breathing called the Breath of Fire or the Maha Agni Pranayam that is a rhythmic and rapid motion that has been said to create a harmony all all the systems and organs of the body to synchronize the body and mind.
Kundalini Mantra
The issue of mantra is also incredibly important here, and in this form of yoga the aim is to raise the frequency of the energy that you garner, so that the self-healing process can be enhanced even further. In order to accomplish these tasks a mantra must be used, which is a sound or grouping of sound that has a pre-determined vibratory effect and which helps with the breathing and other relaxation techniques involved in the exercise.
Through the breathing techniques and meditation found in Kundalini yoga meditation, students are encouraged to find new levels of self-confidence and become stronger by harnessing the new energy they find within their bodies and by tuning into what their bodies are saying. Over time, the benefits of Kundalini yoga meditation are gradual and graceful for the individual.
As it is one of the more gentle forms of yoga, Kundalini yoga meditation is a very popular choice among beginners looking to be introduced to the exercise of yoga.

I must say it’s a very informative article on Kundalini yoga meditation. I am surely going to give this a try since more than anything else it is very good for relaxation after long working hours. I think everyone should try to practice yoga for at least 30 mins from our busy schedule for overall well being.
I’ve been trying to remember these names – ‘Breath of Fire or the Maha Agni Pranayam’ – for sooooo long and couldn’t! I’m so glad I visited your blog to be blessed with this post and your reminder! THANK YOU!
