I am harldy a devoted Yoga practitioner. I am NOT flexible. I purchased this video because like most people, I suffer from chronic low back pain (I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis). I have watched and “done” the video several times. I can absolutely say that after doing the video, I get pain relief. I feel more flexible. The yoga video, like a lot of exercise videos, is a little too “talky”. Would have like less “yak, yak” and more on positions, getting into them, and or modifying them for various fitness levels. All in all, I am pleased with the video.
If you have back pain and know nothing about yoga, don’t be afraid of this video. Try it!

I’m 60, active and a bit overweight. I developed a sore back a couple of months ago. By doing the easy stretches and poses daily, say for 1/2 hour, my back feels great and I’m more agile than before, so I’m going to stay with it.

5 Stars Good stretching exercises and easy to follow
Back Care Basics is a good, easy to follow stretching exercises. It arrived promptly and was a new product. I would recommend this site and the CD to anyone as we all can use stretching.

Peggy Cappy is a wonderful yoga instructor, especially for people over 50. Her videos show gentle yoga that anyone can do without fear of hurting themselves if they follow her instructions. I am so pleased to have “found” her.

4 Stars Yoga For the Rest of Us
I just wanted a yoga video that is not annoying that I will stick to and this is finally it. Okay, so it’s a little slow but that sets the mood so you can do your breathing correctly. Also, if I DON’T do these back exercises for 3 days, all the stiffness and discomfort comes back. I am thrilled that Peggy’s clear instruction has made a difference. I told my sister who is several states away, is a runner in her 50s and is tired of feeling stiff after her runs, to order it too, and she has benefited greatly! Definitely on the easy, beginner side.
