This book was written by a very well known yoga teacher and has given us a lot of great information on how to lose weight by doing yoga as well as a strategy for keeping it off.
Whenever I look at a weight-loss book I wonder “Can I do it?”
With Dada’s program I did have to commit to half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening. At first I was afraid of even committing this much but as soon as I started I realized that doing it first thing in the morning and then first thing after I got home from work gave me so much more energy and I truly enjoyed my day more. After a week I was hooked and felt I was missing something if I couldn’t do it for whatever reason.
The next question I ask myself is “Do I need special equipment?”:
Well since I already had my yoga mat which I purchased a few years ago I didn’t need anything else except a comfortable space to practice.
Last question - “How long will it take me to lose weight?”:
For this one I believe in the long term commitment being the real value. As soon as I started thinking about it as a part of my day and not as a quicky weight-loss scheme magically the weight started to come off without me even “trying”. I really can’t recommend this enough. I should think that even if you can only do it 3 or 4 days a week it will make a marked improvement in your weight as well as you outlook.
A few more things I liked about this program are:
1. The price: only $19.95! You can’t beat that even if you only take away a few key facts to make your life better it’s worth the twenty bucks.
2. The bonus’: Included are a few other books on things like healthy eating, organic food, and some great smoothy recipes that made losing the weight even easier.
3. I could download the book right away.
This really was and is a great program for me. I’ve integrated lots of Dada’s teaching into my other forms of yoga. Do yourself a favor and take a look for yourself.
